Pastor Ramón J. Canals serves as an assistant to the president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the General Conference Ministerial Association secretary. He is responsible for coordinating all its ministries, pub-lications, and world church initiatives. Pastor Canals graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central American Adventist University in Costa Rica. He also holds Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Andrews University. Pastor Canals mission is to encourage, energize, empower, and equip the saints for the mission of saving souls. He is married to Aurora, and they have two adult children, Jessica and Gabriel, and three grandchildren. Pastor Canals enjoys racquetball, reading, music, gardening, and of course memorizing entire books and chapters of the Bible.
